I just recently saw these on TikTok and I LOVE them so I decided to add them to my blog

I am currently reading The Island by Adrian Mckinty. I am only about 25% done with it as of right now and I am loving it! It definitely has some mixed reviews but I am a fan so far. The gist of it is a family is on a trip to Australia and they end up taking a trip to this island that they definitely should never have gone on in the first place. I’m not going to spoil anything but if you like a fast paced thriller I would for sure recommend!

Not much to say here but I love these. I saw someone put these in the oven with gorgonzola so my take on that is topping them with blue cheese or parmesan and putting them in the air fryer. So freaking delicious.

I LOVE hozier. I don’t know why this song has been taking a hold on me recently but I love it. I think the reason actually is that I have seen him live twice in the last two months and something about this song live is just so perfect. Seeing him again this weekend too. Stunning.

I LOVE me a good Happy Dad. If you’ve never had them they’re just hard seltzers but something about them is so good. I also just love the cans and the way that they look in my little can dispenser.

Y’all if you haven’t been go to Top Golf. I have been trying to convince my family and my boyfriend that I should play golf so my boyfriends compromise was taking me to Top Golf to see if I could even hit a ball lol. I honestly had so much fun. The drinks and food are honestly really great too. Highly recommend !!

Picked these up from Harris Teeter because my bf and I wanted a sweet treat. He doesn't like them and says they’re too sour but I think they’re so good.

Hobbies!

I have been trying to implement some new hobbies in my day to day life. My favorite hobby that I have been doing A LOT is embroidery! I am loving it right now. It’s such an amazing hobby that is so satisfying. It is also super cheap! All of the ones that I have done have been from Amazon or Michaels and have been under $20. The next hobby that I have been doing a lot has been coloring. This is also such a cheap and simple hobby. You can buy coloring books all over the place and can definitely find one that fits your vibes. It’s something that is so satisfying and mindless. I have a serial killer coloring book which is definitely not for everyone but as a true crime obsessed girly I LOVE it. The last hobby that I have been doing recently that is a little goofy and definitely for children in the lifestyle Mini Verses. If you don’t know what I’m talking about they are in the toy section lol and they are little balls with tiny pieces inside that you build. My friends make the food ones and I couldn’t really get into that but I’ve been getting the lifestyle ones that include things like plants, bird houses, fish tanks, etc. I genuinely don’t care that it’s for kids it’s so satisfying. When my boyfriend and I sit down at the end of the day to watch tv more often than not I am either coloring or doing my embroidery. The last very simple hobby that I have been doing a lot more of is reading. I kind of forgot how much I loved reading and got really into it last summer. I am currently reading The Island by Adrian Mckinty. I am about 25% done with it and I’m really liking it so far. I LOVE a physical book but I have quite a bit of travel coming up this year so I just downloaded the Apple Books app onto my iPad and have actually really been liking reading on there. The most recent book that I finished was How to Sell a Haunted House by Grady Hendrix and I LOVED that book it was so good and so entertaining. It was definitely a little bit spooky but I absolutely adored it.

In this section I wanted to chit chat about some hobbies that I want to start. One that I am very excited about is needlepoint. As I was writing this I actually just ordered my first needlepoint canvas from Kenzie Elizabeth’s shop Friend of Mine. I have been wanting to start needlepoint for a while but it definitely is a more expensive hobby but I couldn’t resist. The next hobby I want to start is air dry clay. I have been seeing it CONSTANTLY on TikTok and it’s kind of hard to escape which I think is a sign that I need to start doing it. I have also been trying to cook more as a hobby. I genuinely hate cooking and my boyfriend loves it so sometimes it feels pointless to force myself to but it’s something that I really want to work on.

Welcome to my Blog!

Hello and welcome to my very first blog post! I wanted to start out by saying thank you for clicking on my blog and supporting me! Creating a blog has been something that I have wanted to do since high school. Now that I have a much more flexible schedule I have decided that there is no better time than now! Recently I have been getting very in to homemaking and home decor in general and have been wanting to start implementing that much more in my life and I felt this would be a great place to do so. Like I mentioned my schedule now is very flexible and something else that I have been trying to implement are some new hobbies and that is going to be what my first official blog post it about!
